Configure the workspace

Phone numbers

Register an organization’s purchased Telnyx number and select which agent answers.

Open this workspace page

Before you add a number

Acquire the number through Telnyx first and configure the provider application/profile to reach this deployment. This page registers and assigns a number in Korenact; it is not a phone-number shopping or purchasing screen.

The full voice and messaging callback URLs and administrator setup are in Telnyx & webhook setup.

Add and assign

  1. Choose Add a number.
  2. Enter Number in E.164 format with a leading + and country code, for example +19375550100.
  3. Enter a Label staff can recognize, such as Main line.
  4. Under Answered by, choose the intended agent. Nobody yet leaves the number unassigned.
  5. Choose Add number and wait for confirmation.
  6. Check the displayed provider, voice/SMS capability, and agent assignment.
  7. Ensure the selected agent is active, has rules, and includes the required channel. Check Channels and run an incoming call or SMS test.

Reassign a number

  1. Find the number in the list.
  2. Choose Organization default, an Agent team, or an Individual agent using the selector beside the number. The selection saves immediately. When all-number team routing is required, this selector is locked; change the organization setting on Agents first.
  3. Use Open for an individual assignment, or manage team membership on Agents. See Agent teams.
  4. Test that incoming traffic now reaches the intended role.

Release a registration

  1. Confirm which workflows and incoming callers depend on the number.
  2. Choose Release and read the confirmation.
  3. Confirm only when you intend to remove the Korenact number registration.
  4. Review the resulting channel readiness and make any required changes in the provider account.

Korenact removes the organization’s registration and records the release. This screen does not itself cancel the purchased number in Telnyx or its provider charges. Past conversations remain available.
