Scheduling walkthrough
Test a booking request, review approval, and confirm the appointment in the provider.
Check prerequisites
- A scheduling agent with the intended calendar actions and a correct rules profile.
- Explicit required data scopes and any required identity verification.
- One verified supported calendar connection, with correct time zone and appointment configuration.
- An active agent for live operation and approval of its pending actions.
- A monitored staff handoff destination.
Use Workflows to inspect action readiness and Connections for the provider setup.
Walk through an appointment request
- Start a workspace test conversation or use an authorized test of the live channel.
- Ask for the intended administrative booking task with an explicit complete date, time, and service where needed.
- Respond to the agent’s missing-information questions. Avoid vague “next Friday” examples until explicit-date tests work.
- Complete the configured identity check when requested.
- If approval is required, open Review queue, inspect the full conversation, and choose Approve and run.
- Read the action outcome and reference.
- Open the provider calendar or scheduling account and confirm the intended appointment, time zone, and details.
- Check any provider notification separately; Korenact’s action result does not promise a separate reminder or message-delivery integration.
Lookup, change, and cancellation
| Task | How to verify it |
|---|---|
| Lookup | Use the required identity and appointment details. Confirm the returned appointment belongs to the authorized person and supported provider context. |
| Google Calendar rescheduling | Supply a supported appointment reference and complete new date/time. Verify the provider record after confirmation. |
| Calendly rescheduling | Route to staff to perform the reschedule in Calendly. The current adapter does not offer live rescheduling. |
| Cancellation | Use a supported appointment reference and review approval/identity requirements. Confirm cancellation in the provider. Calendly cancellation is limited to the implemented single-invitee flow. |
The current implementation does not offer multiple calendar/event-type routing or a complete conversational availability-selection experience. Additional provider questions or location requirements may need staff handling.
When a request cannot finish
- Missing date, time, reference, or other required fields: provide the missing information rather than submitting a second booking.
- Ambiguous local or daylight-saving time: clarify an explicit date/time in the calendar’s time zone.
- Blocked by rules: ask an administrator to inspect action permissions and scopes.
- Awaiting approval: follow the review process.
- Outcome unknown: check the provider before trying again.
- Unsupported provider action: use the staff handoff process.
The Review queue explains how to handle each recorded action status.
