Telnyx & webhook setup

Give the carrier administrator the callback URLs and verify incoming voice and SMS.

Callback URLs for this deployment

A webhook is the callback address Telnyx uses to deliver call or messaging events to Korenact. Use the API hostname, not the public website, app, or documentation hostname.

Telnyx destinationKorenact URL
Voice / Call Control application webhookhttps://api.korenact.com/api/v1/webhooks/telnyx/voice
SMS / Messaging Profile webhookhttps://api.korenact.com/api/v1/webhooks/telnyx/messaging

If your deployment uses a different API domain, use its full HTTPS origin with the same paths. Share these addresses with the person managing your Telnyx account.

Administrator setup sequence

  1. Acquire an authorized Telnyx number with the required voice or messaging capabilities.
  2. Configure the voice Call Control application to deliver events to the voice webhook above and assign the number to the correct provider application.
  3. For SMS, configure the Messaging Profile webhook above and the number’s messaging setup.
  4. Install the Telnyx API credential, the applicable connection/profile identifiers, and the account’s webhook-verification public key in the deployment’s root environment file.
  5. Keep signature verification enabled. Production requires a valid base64 Ed25519 public key; the public key and API key have different purposes.
  6. Ensure the API is publicly reachable over HTTPS and the durable webhook worker is running.
  7. Register and assign the number in Korenact, activate the intended agent and channel, and run a real incoming test.

The provider administrator can find the public key in Telnyx Mission Control under Account Settings → Keys & Credentials → Public Key. See Telnyx’s webhook guidance. Portal labels may vary as Telnyx updates its interface.

Confirm delivery

  1. Call the configured line from an approved test number.
  2. Confirm the intended opening line and agent handling.
  3. Find the new record in Conversations and inspect its channel, agent, transcript, and trace.
  4. If SMS is included, send a separate test message and inspect its recorded handling.
  5. Run a staff-handoff test and verify the destination and follow-up process.
  6. If no record appears, ask the administrator to inspect provider webhook delivery, signature verification, number assignment, and worker processing.
