Platform settings
Read provider configuration and speech-service status when a workflow has a problem.
Open this workspace pageA diagnostic page
The navigation calls it Platform settings, but this page is read-only. It displays Environment, Reasoning mode, Voice pipeline, Providers, and Before going live. Deployment administrators change credentials and service configuration outside the client console.
| State | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Ready | Configuration is present. Some rows reflect configuration rather than a live end-to-end provider health check. |
| Not configured | The required credential, endpoint, or optional provider selection is missing. |
| Unreachable | The speech service is configured but did not respond to the current probe. |
This page refreshes its provider and health data approximately every 20 seconds while open.
Inspect the service path
- Check Environment and ensure you are using the intended deployment.
- Read Reasoning mode. Deterministic first means rules and knowledge remain operational without optional internal generation.
- Check Telephony configuration when calls or SMS cannot be handled.
- Check Text to speech when the voice catalog or synthesized voice is unavailable.
- Read Speech to text and the Voice pipeline mode. An optional separate transcription provider can remain unset; deployed calls use carrier transcription in the supported turn-by-turn configuration.
- Share the displayed state, time of the issue, affected channel, and conversation reference with the administrator.
Understand fallback behavior
If the speech service is unreachable, calls can fall back to carrier speech. Optional model absence does not disable rules and approved knowledge. A Telnyx key being present does not confirm a purchased number, webhook delivery, or successful incoming call. Test the full workflow after the administrator resolves the underlying configuration.
